Marine pictures by Herefordshire-based painter Martin Lamport. These paintings are inspired by sailing and traveling experiences, using conditions and locations I have witnessed and subjects which caught my imagination. Some have stories attached. Some are merely for fun. They probably do not satisfy any modern definition of art. I just strive for craftsmanship. Taking my inspiration from the Mad Hatter I paint what I like and I like what I paint. I hope you do too.

The Round the Island Race - The long beat to Finish.

I sailed in this race in 2015. Sadko (on the left) was not there, but had she been she might have looked like this.
